We are happy for you to stay in the store during the grooming process - unfortunately you are not able to stand with your dog but can view the process from the store front. We are more than happy to show you around the salon.  Our connecting door to the grooming area is always open allowing visual access to our process and further supporting our promise that your dog is in safe, caring and honest hands.

Matting and Stubborn Knots

The best advice we can offer to clients who love longer, breed appropriate coats is to bring your dogs in on a regular basis. 

Visits to the groomer should be between 4 - 6 weeks maximum if you are hoping to maintain longer styles.  This enables us to follow your instructions to the letter each and every time. 

Unfortunately when a coat has been left too long and matting has begun we have very little option available to us as working for hours to de-matt a coat can be a very painful experience for the dog so the kindest solution is to clip the coat off and start fresh. 

So we encourage regular visits so we can always make the
experience a great one for the dog and the end result an
even better one for the owners.
